EXERCISES FOR NECK PAIN

Neck Stretch
Stand straight. Push chin forward to stretch throat. Gently tense neck muscles. Hold for 5 seconds. Return head to centre and push it backwards. Hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
 
Neck Tilt
Tilt head down to put chin on chest. Gently tense neck muscles. Hold for 5 seconds. Return to neutral position. Repeat 5 times.
 
Neck Turn
Turn head towards one side. Keep chin at the same height. Move within comfortable limits. Gently tense neck muscles. Hold for 5 seconds. Return head to neutral position. Repeat on the opposite side. Do it 5 times on each side.
 
Neck Tilt (side to side)
Tilt head towards shoulder, leaning with ear. Gently tense neck muscles. Hold for 5 seconds. Return head to neutral position. Repeat on the other side. Do it 5 times for each side.
